Presentation Night 2009
The season came to an official end at the Spanish Club on Saturday night
with the hosting of the 2009 NFC Presentation Night. Martin Lategui did a
great job behind the microphone to keep things rolling and Evergreen kept
the crowd entertained with their smooth tones throughout the night. As
usual, José Lategui and his team of 'Asado-experts' made sure everyone was
well-fed with a selection of fantastic meats from the BBQ. It was a great
night for the club, made possible by the assistance we receive from all of
our sponsors throughout the year. But a special mention must go to Oscar
Peña from AAA Absolute Stone for the fantastic marble coffee that he
donated to the club for auction, and to RUIZ Constructions for their kind
cash donation, originally raised for a proposed post-season trip away for
the players, it was decided by the Ruiz brothers that the money would be
put 'on the bar' for the players to enjoy.
'Thank you' to everyone involved in making the night a success.

But the biggest announcement of all was actually made the night before at
the Capital Football Awards Night, where Narrabundah FC was named:
"2009 CAPITAL FOOTBALL STATE LEAGUE CLUB OF THE YEAR" !!!!!
So a big "Congratulations" goes out to all members of the
Narrabundah FC Family - Players, Coaches, Sponsors, Fans and Committee
Members - this is recognition of all the hard work put in over the last 7
years to make this club a great place to play or support football. Well
done.
