2009 Australia vs Kuwait

Narrabundah FC players and committee were in the 20,032 crowd last night to witness a very poor Socceroos team lose to Kuwait at the Canberra Stadium. The atmosphere that the NFC boys help create at the stadium was not matched by a lacklustre Socceroos team. Various members of the NFC contingent were left angry as to why OUR Striker Kenny MAC did not replace Archie Thompson at half time. Some say it was due to the 10 Beers he had before half time, even so Kenny would still have done better than the less than average Thompson. In amongst the NFC boys was a guest commentator from SBS radio who was constantly giving the Ref and Kuwaiti players a earful in deep foreign accent. Thank god we had this expert, as he was more entertaining than the game that was played on the pitch. NFC will also be making money from last night game. A certain committee member had copyrighted a certain celebration and was still at the stadium getting money off spectators. Oh by the way the Socceroos lost 1-0.
